How to Use This Tool

Creating a strong and memorable password is easy with our tool. Here’s how:

  1. Number of Words: Choose how many words you want in your passphrase. More words mean a stronger password. We recommend at least 4.
  2. Separator: Select a character to separate the words, or choose CamelCase for no separator.
  3. Capitalize: Check this box to capitalize the first letter of each word, adding another layer of security.
  4. Leetspeak: Substitute some letters with numbers and symbols for extra complexity. A hint will be provided.
  5. Add a Number/Symbol: For even more strength, you can add a random number and/or symbol to the end of your password.
  6. Number to Generate: Choose how many passwords to generate at once.

Once you’ve set your options, click “Generate Password” and your new, memorable password(s) will appear.

Why Use a Passphrase?

Traditional passwords like "Tr0ub4dor&3" are hard for humans to remember but relatively easy for computers to guess. A passphrase like "CorrectHorseBatteryStaple" is much longer, making it significantly harder to crack, yet it's easy for you to remember. This is the principle our generator is built on.
